Well, this has been an award winning week if the aim is getting zero done.  It’s not that bad, but nearly.  I got measurements to finish putting a flimsy together for a lady on Tuesday.  We had to verify the arrangement of the Trip Around the World quarters and that information came in yesterday.  So, I’m ready to proceed on that assignment.

Also on Tuesday I went to visit a lady who has a service dog.  She’s training a younger and smaller dog and needed a new vest.  The one she had didn’t fit quite right and we discussed new features, a little emergency info pocket, the text necessary, where buckles should be and how it should fit differently.  We actually will be coming up with 3 vests/harnesses.  One is done, as shown.  The next version of this one will be tweaked a bit more.  You can see when the dog sits that the bottom front corner should reach toward the chin a bit more and it should loop a little higher over the shoulder.  The next vest will also be missing the crests and will be silkscreened with “Service Dog / Do Not Disturb”.  This is a 50 lb dog.  Larger vests should also be developed.  Another niche for me.

And, I made a baby bib.  I should have taken a picture.  I showed it to 3 friends who all thought it was the best thing ever.  SO CUTE!!  It came from here.

I guess it wasn’t such a bad week.  Oh, and there was my turtle adventure.  That was fun.  Certainly there wasn’t much quilting this week though.  Mind you, the morning glory and the tatw client quilts were picked up this week and both ladies were very pleased.  I was so glad!
